Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Municipality renewed its contract with the marine rescue services company for its safety system on Al Hamriyah Beach and Beach Park.

The system includes an integrated team of well-trained lifeguards.

The services also provide modern equipment for saving lives at sea. This includes jet skis, boats, rescue boards, and communication devices. They also have first aid kits, oxygen tanks, and tools for restarting someone's heart if needed. Additionally, there are special vehicles that help rescue teams reach emergencies quickly in different areas.

The work also includes identifying safe swimming areas, providing clear lines and markings separating them from boat and jet ski routes, enhancing directional signs, and implementing emergency and evacuation plans.

According to Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, the Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, the safety of beachgoers and providing a safe and appealing beach environment for families and visitors is a top priority; that’s why it is essential to renew the contract with the marine rescue system.
