Sharjah 24: The organising committee for the Khorfakkan Club's segment of the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme, running under the theme "A Holiday Reimagined," held its final briefing session.

Led by Ahmed Hassan Al Naqbi, Board Member and Head of the Organising Committee, the assembly zeroed in on completing readiness checks and analysing administrative, technical, and logistical elements to guarantee a premium launch that matches top quality metrics. The initiative is a core component of the overarching Sharjah Summer Sports Programme, spearheaded by the Sharjah Sports Council across various athletic clubs in the emirate.

Operational plans and smart platform reviewed

The session featured a detailed evaluation of the operational blueprint and daily workflows, locking in the schedule of activities, field trips, and workshops. It also finalised task assignments across sub-teams and verified the condition of athletic venues, safety and security protocols, participant check-in methods, and pick-up/drop-off logistics. Collectively, these actions are structured to offer a secure and thorough experience for youth and their families.

Furthermore, the panel went over the operational readiness of the project's new smart digital platform. This flagship electronic tool empowers parents to track their children's daily arrival and departure times live, view the calendar of activities, enroll digitally for specialised programmes, offer real-time feedback, engage with reward and incentive initiatives, and monitor talent development pathways. This tech-driven approach aims to elevate service standards and streamline transparency between guardians and administrators.

Digital transformation supports community services

The organising body highlighted that rolling out this smart framework directly supports the Sharjah Sports Council's overarching push toward digital integration, smart service enhancement, and the application of cutting-edge tech to refine the community experience. The platform is designed to yield an immersive and interactive space that yields higher organisational output and enhanced service standards for all involved families.

Organising committee highlights programme objectives

Ahmed Hassan Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, verified that all specialised working tracks have completed their operational setups in line with the authorised blueprint. He emphasised that the collective team is operating in unison to present an standout itinerary that seamlessly bridges entertainment with educational pillars, providing a secure, encouraging space where youth can maximise their summer recess. This initiative mirrors the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which stress the importance of championing the youth, elevating their intrinsic capabilities, and refining their skill sets within a protected, educational setting.

Diverse activities for youth development

Al Naqbi concluded by noting that this year's schedule will present a wide array of athletic, intellectual, leisure, and preventative awareness segments, augmented by creative ventures and targeted skill workshops. These varied tracks are tailored to fulfill the goals of both the Sharjah Sports Council and Khorfakkan Club, aimed at expanding participants' competencies, uncovering budding talents, and embedding the core tenets of collective teamwork and innovation within an inclusive summer layout executed according to top organisational practices.
