The SSC reviewed the activities of the Sharjah Sports Summer Programme "A Holiday Reimagined 2026" at Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled during a field visit aimed at monitoring the summer programmes and activities provided to participants, which saw the participation of more than 100 male and female athletes.
His Excellency Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, confirmed that the visit reflects the SSC’s interest in following up on summer programmes and represents a message of support and encouragement for participants and the club’s administrative and technical staff. He noted that the visit contributed to ensuring the smooth running of work and the quality of programmes and activities provided to participants.
In statements to “Sharjah 24,” Al Naqbi added that this attention serves as a motivation to continue working, exert greater efforts, and enhance the level of programmes and services in a way that meets participants’ aspirations and contributes to the success of summer programmes.
The SSC praised the organisational level of the activities, the diversity of programmes and activities, and the participation they have attracted. It also commended the efforts of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled in implementing quality programmes that support and empower people with disabilities and enhance their quality of life through purposeful sports, cultural and recreational activities.
