Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police Headquarters, represented by the Security Media Department, hosted the Pink Caravan event for its female employees in partnership with the Friends of Cancer Patients Association (FOCP), as part of Pink October, the breast cancer awareness month.

Promoting health awareness among female officers

The event's goal was to improve health awareness among female police officers and encourage them to get regular check-ups for early diagnosis of the disease. It included free on-site medical tests performed by professional medical staff, the distribution of awareness leaflets, and symbolic gifts.

Alignment with national health goals

SPH underlined that holding this event is consistent with national goals to promote community health, instil a culture of early detection, and improve preventive measures, noting that human resource management is a major pillar of institutional and police operations in the emirate.

Recognition and appreciation from participants

Participants thanked the leadership for their commitment to delivering specific programmes that assist their physical and mental health while also raising their awareness of the necessity of early diagnosis for prevention and treatment. This highlights Sharjah Police's dedication to positively impacting health, community, and humanitarian efforts.
