This development is part of Sharjah Police's attempts to improve service efficiency and streamline procedures for the public. The move intends to make the service more accessible and convenient by allowing citizens to register financial reports electronically at any comprehensive police station without having to visit the headquarters. The service also involves the issuance of digital bank certificates, which saves time and eases the strain on service customers.
Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabeh Al Ajel, Director General of the General Department of Comprehensive Police Stations, stated that expanding the service to all comprehensive stations reflects the headquarters' commitment to providing coverage throughout the emirate. He stated that this step aims to improve accessibility, speed up financial report registration, and offer more flexible services to the public. Distributing responsibility across multiple stations relieves pressure on the headquarters and provides consumers with more options for submitting or enquiring about reports at their nearby station."
He stated that financial reports are approved if the cheque is affected by any of the following reasons: bank account closure, intentionally issuing the cheque in such a way that it cannot be cashed, using a cheque in someone else's name, or fraud and fabrication of the cheque.
Sharjah Police said that this approach will increase public satisfaction and demonstrates the headquarters' commitment to improving society's quality of life.
