SP hosts delegation from Sharjah Airport Authority

Sharjah 24: As part of efforts to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between local authorities and institutions in the Emirate, the Operations Centre at Sharjah Police (SP) hosted a delegation from the Sharjah Airport Authority, headed by Dr Sultan Salem Al Shamsi, Director of Quality Assurance Department, accompanied by a number of authority officials.

The delegation was welcomed by Colonel Mohammed Majid Al Shamsi, Director of the Operations Centre, along with several officers and officials.

Visit overview and centre’s role

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the centre’s departments and tasks, the mechanisms of coordination with various police departments and relevant authorities, as well as its pivotal role in managing emergency and crisis reports, disasters, security monitoring, performance analysis, and efficiency enhancement.

Technology and operational systems

The visiting delegation also reviewed the latest technologies and systems used for receiving reports, managing them, and coordinating field responses, in addition to analytical systems that contribute to improving response efficiency and rapid handling of emergency cases.

Delegation’s admiration

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their admiration for the advanced level that the Sharjah Police has reached in smart transformation and security operations management, praising the sophisticated technical infrastructure and the qualified national cadres working according to the highest global standards.
