Sharjah 24: In an effort to strengthen collaboration between Sharjah Police and local universities, a team from the Security Support Department of Sharjah Police recently visited the University of Al Dhaid.

The delegation, led by Brigadier Adel Rashid Al Shehhi, Director of the Security Support Department, was warmly welcomed by Dr Aisha Ahmed Abu Shalabi, Chancellor of the University. The purpose of this visit was to explore the latest practices in veterinary medicine and to discuss ways to work together.

This partnership aims to connect security services with educational institutions, ensuring that both can benefit each other. The focus is on improving security operations, especially in managing biological resources and promoting their careful preservation through shared knowledge and skills.

During the visit, there was also a meeting with Dr Rabiha Al Sabousi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine. They discussed creating a special training program in veterinary medicine and exchanging valuable knowledge and experiences that would enhance the capabilities of the security team.

Both the police and university officials expressed their commitment to ongoing cooperation and expanding their partnership to support sustainable development and keep up with advancements in both security and education.
