The committee convened with the presence of Issa Hilal Al Huzami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; Abdulmalik Mohammed Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Council and Chairman of the Organising Committee; Dr Yasser Al-Doukhi, Director of the Games; as well as the heads of sub-committees and members of the General Supervision Office.
Issa Hilal praised the committee's meticulous attention to every detail since its formation, emphasising that the Kalba Beach Games were more than a tournament. The event has secured a special place in the hearts of the emirate’s residents in general and Kalba’s community in particular. He noted the anticipation surrounding the Games each year, highlighting the generous support provided by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. Issa Hilal also commended the general organisational plan and the tasks of the sub-committees, wishing all involved success in delivering a remarkable edition that will capture attention and continue the legacy of success.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the progress of work across the various subcommittees for the new edition, approved the competition schedule, and confirmed the age categories that will participate. Issa Hilal praised the preparations and thanked the teams, stressing that maintaining the success of previous editions requires doubled efforts. He also highlighted the importance of diversifying the accompanying events to meet the interests of the audience, noting that the Games have evolved into an annual festival eagerly awaited by families in the “Bride of the East Coast”, Kalba, for its competitions and celebratory atmosphere.
