The delegation was headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr bin Hamad bin Majid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, and Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors.

The meeting focused on discussing arrangements for supervising and organising the Sharjah Tour, as part of the Council's plan to monitor the progress of work in the emirate's sports clubs.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Al Hosan Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Council, Salem Ahmed Al Suwaidi and Yousef Mirza Al Hammadi, members of the Club's Board of Directors, and several department directors and heads of sections within the Council.

Developing cycling routes in Sharjah

The meeting also explored a vision and mechanism for establishing and developing cycling routes in the emirate, emphasising safety requirements and encouraging athletes and the community to use designated routes for cycling.

Furthermore, the importance of future cooperation between the Club and other clubs in the emirate was discussed, aiming to promote cycling and attract more athletes and cycling enthusiasts, thereby expanding the sport's reach and aligning with the available resources and the Club's plans.
