Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council kicked off the third edition of the "Wa'ed" program at their headquarters on Saturday, October 4th. This program, which will run until February 7th, aims to train and develop future leaders in sports. A total of sixty participants are taking part in this initiative, which includes four main areas of focus: improving personal productivity, learning about motivational leadership, and two leadership camps for youth—one for ages 15 to 17 and another for ages 12 to 14. The courses will be taught by a team of international experts and trainers.

The first track, "Personal Productivity," lasts seven weeks and is designed for executive leaders, while the second track, "Motivational Leadership," runs for ten weeks. The youth leadership camps will each last for eight days, providing focused training for young people.

Issa Hilal, a representative from the Council, emphasized that the program aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He highlighted the importance of investing in young people, training athletes, and preparing leaders to face future challenges. This initiative aims to cultivate a generation of leaders who can make a meaningful impact in the sports world and enhance Sharjah's reputation as a hub for sports excellence on both regional and international stages. Hilal expressed happiness over the success of previous editions and mentioned that this increases their responsibility and ambition for future programs.
