The challenge will host 300 participants, including professional athletes and fans of mountain, desert, and fat bikes. Covering a 21 km route, the race begins and ends at the entrance to Mleiha National Park. The schedule starts at 6:30 AM with the electric bike race, followed by the mountain bike and desert bike races at five-minute intervals.
Top finishers will receive commemorative medals and cash prizes, recognizing their achievements in one of Sharjah’s most scenic and historic landscapes.
Mleiha’s terrain—featuring desert landscapes and rugged mountains—is recognized as an archaeological and historical site, listed by UNESCO. Riders and spectators will experience the Mleiha, Al Fayah, and Al Buhais mountains, blending adventure with natural beauty.
The event aligns with Sharjah’s broader efforts to promote tourism through sport, tying into Shurooq’s “Come Closer” campaign, which aims to position Mleiha as a hub for sports, cycling, and adventure tourism.
