His Excellency Engineer Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of SRTA, emphasised that the authority's participation in GRTIEC represents an important opportunity to highlight the emirate's efforts in developing the transport and infrastructure sector and to learn about the latest global practices that support the drive towards achieving a qualitative shift in this vital sector. He explained that the exhibition provides an ideal platform to present the SRTA's distinguished participation by showcasing its projects and facilitating direct communication with prominent experts and decision-makers at the regional and international levels.
Al Othmani explained that the SRTA seeks, through its participation, to strengthen partnerships with various institutions and exchange best practices to contribute to raising performance efficiency and providing quality services to the public. Innovative projects
During the exhibition, the SRTA will showcase innovative projects that reflect its drive to integrate the latest smart solutions into transportation services. The SRTA will showcase advanced technologies such as smart surveillance cameras powered by artificial intelligence installed on buses, along with passenger information screens and destination display panels powered by advanced communications technologies. The SRTA will also highlight the intercity ticketing system implemented in collaboration with Ridango.
The SRTA will also highlight the Traffic Signal Control Room, a key component of traffic management, and the Priority Traffic System, which enhances traffic flow and reduces travel time.

The SRTA's participation will extend over three days, with relevant departments showcasing these projects through interactive platforms.
