Under the approved diversion plan, vehicles travelling towards Dubai and Al Nahda Bridge will be rerouted via Corniche Street, while traffic from Al Nahda Bridge towards Sharjah will be redirected to the new Al Taawun Street, in line with the designated alternative routes in the traffic plan.

The temporary traffic diversion will take effect on Saturday, 13 June 2026.

The authority has urged motorists to follow the approved traffic diversions and directional signage, use the designated alternative routes, and observe traffic safety instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow and to reach their destinations safely and without delay.
