Sharjah 24: The Media and Corporate Communications Department at Sharjah Sports Club has announced an exciting media campaign led by Salem Ali bin Darwish. This campaign celebrates the incredible achievements of the Sharjah Sports Club handball team, which made history by winning the Asian Handball Champions Cup in 2024 for the very first time. The team also had the honor of representing the UAE and Asia at the Super Globe World Club Championship in 2025. Impressively, they hold the record for the most championships won by Emirati clubs, with a total of 50 titles in both local and international competitions.

The main goal of this campaign is to showcase the journey of handball at Sharjah Sports Club, tracing its history from the beginning to what it has become today.

It will also explain what has contributed to the Sharjah team's success, highlighting their effective management and teamwork as an inspiring example for both fans and the sports community. Additionally, the campaign will follow the team as they train in Egypt and compete in upcoming tournaments taking place from September 26 to October 2.

Salem Ali bin Darwish shared that the media campaign will feature a podcast series called "The Road to the World Cup," created in collaboration with Sharjah Media City (Shams). This podcast will tell the story of handball's achievements in the region. The campaign will also share various engaging content on Sharjah Club's social media platforms, working together with the Sport4All sports news network.
