Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Club successfully defended its UAE Youth Cycling League title, securing the championship for the second consecutive season after a dominant, unbeaten campaign.

The team received the league trophy at the UAE Cycling Federation’s season-closing ceremony at the federation’s headquarters in Sharjah.

Sharjah delivered an outstanding performance throughout the season, maintaining complete control of the competition and winning every round at both the individual and team levels.

Dominance across the league

The championship featured 16 clubs from across the UAE competing over several rounds.

Sharjah's youth cyclists asserted their superiority from the opening stages of the competition and remained unbeaten throughout the season, reflecting the club's strong technical and administrative preparation.

Individual honours

Sharjah riders also dominated the individual standings, with Saif Mohammed Thani Al Ghawi winning the league title and the first-place trophy after delivering consistent performances throughout the campaign.

His teammate Salman Mansoori secured second place, further underlining the club’s dominance in the competition.

Continued success

The achievement highlights the efforts of the players, coaching and administrative staff, and the club's commitment to developing young talent through its individual sports programme.

Meanwhile, Sharjah's junior cycling team added another achievement by securing third place in the overall league standings, further reinforcing the club's strong presence across multiple age categories in the sport.
