Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Parents Council, affiliated with the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, organised community visits to a number of notable figures in the city of Sharjah, as part of its initiatives aimed at reinforcing bridges of communication with different segments of society and promoting national values.

Gifts, appreciation, and human connections

During these visits, the Council was keen to present commemorative gifts and exchange words of thanks and appreciation, embodying its mission to extend bridges of cooperation and loyalty. The initiative also reaffirmed its role in activating social responsibility and strengthening human relations.

Celebrating women’s role in nation-building

The step took place in a cordial atmosphere that reflected pride in national achievements, while highlighting the outstanding role of Emirati women in the nation’s development journey as essential partners in progress. This coincided with the celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, an inspiring occasion to honour their contributions and esteemed status.

Instilling national identity among youth

The Council affirmed that such initiatives fall within its ongoing plans to consolidate social bonds, highlight national values, and inspire students to take pride in their national identity through participation in community activities and initiatives that embody the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the homeland.

Appreciation for community engagement

In this context, the Council commended the warm response and appreciation expressed by the community figures visited, noting that such encounters strengthen social cohesion and open new horizons for partnership in future initiatives that serve students, families, and society at large.

Educational and social impact

The Council also stressed the educational and awareness-raising value of these initiatives, which help instil the values of giving and loyalty in young people, while reinforcing the concept of responsibility towards the nation and its people. This is achieved by presenting practical examples of positive communication and recognising the contributions of those who have served the community.
