Sharjah 24: Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, revealed that the council is cooperating with Sharjah Police as part of the ‘Suburbs Buds’ programme, with the aim of making the most of children’s free time, developing their skills, and reinforcing UAE values, loyalty and a sense of belonging, in a way that positively impacts families and the community.

The Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated with the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, in cooperation with Sharjah Police, organised the final stop of the ‘Suburbs Buds’ programme as part of efforts to strengthen community partnerships and communication between the council and government entities.

Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, said the programme includes a series of purposeful programmes and activities aimed at developing children’s skills, including the Little Policeman programme and a number of awareness and educational programmes.

Speaking to “Sharjah 24,” he explained that the programme aims to make the most of children’s free time, develop their skills, and reinforce good UAE values, loyalty and a sense of belonging, contributing to building a balanced personality among children and positively impacting their families and community.

Al Naqbi noted that these initiatives reflect the importance of community partnerships between parents’ councils and government departments and institutions. They also support efforts to enhance children’s quality of life and provide a stimulating environment that contributes to developing their abilities and reinforcing national values.
