Sharjah 24: The Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, concluded their “summer programme” activities, which ran from 5 July to 2 August under the slogan “Let’s Summer,” achieving notable engagement and success in honing the girls’ skills and developing their abilities.

The four-week programme offered 47 diverse workshops across multiple locations in Sharjah, including Al Qarayen, Khorfakkan, Kalba, Al Dhaid, Mleiha, Dibba Al Hisn, and Al Madam. It attracted 1,221 participants from the Sajaya community, providing a comprehensive educational and recreational experience.

Developing skills through leadership, science, and sports

From leadership workshops to creativity, science, technology, and teamwork, the programme was carefully designed to enhance girls’ life skills. The spirit of sportsmanship was also present with three sports tournaments in basketball, volleyball, and swimming, alongside a specialised sports camp that helped nurture athletic talents.

On the entertainment side, four exploratory trips added fun and discovery, inspiring the participants further.

Sajaya continues its commitment to a strategic vision aimed at preparing a generation of ambitious and creative girls, capable of confidently and consciously facing future challenges through quality programmes that blend education, enjoyment, and community values.
