The programme offers a rich educational and entertaining experience aimed at developing skills and productively occupying children’s free time. It will be held at the Shams Business Centre and targets children aged 6 to 16 years, providing a balanced mix of educational and recreational activities designed to enhance creative thinking, build self-confidence, and sharpen personal and media skills simultaneously.
The second edition of the programme embodies Shams’ vision to create early learning environments that embrace talents from childhood. It offers children the opportunity to explore the worlds of media, arts, and technology in an interactive and enjoyable way, under the supervision of a select group of specialised trainers experienced in working with young age groups.
The summer programme includes a range of integrated workshops covering theatre and acting, podcast production, stop-motion photography, artificial intelligence skills, as well as drawing and Arabic calligraphy workshops. Additionally, there are specialised workshops in speaking and influence skills, and content creation, all delivered under the guidance of experienced trainers to ensure a distinguished and interactive learning experience.
Alongside the educational workshops, the programme offers diverse recreational activities including sports and mind games, recycling programmes, crafts, and mini gardening projects that contribute to raising children’s environmental awareness in a fun and direct way.
Shams has carefully prepared the summer programme to meet all safety and comfort requirements, including the presence of medical support staff, equipped facilities, and a team of volunteers to manage children’s entry and exit and take care of them throughout the day. A comfortable waiting area is also allocated for parents. The programme provides snacks, stationery, motivational gifts, and participation certificates for each child, completing a rich experience that reflects shams’ commitment to nurturing the future generation and honing their creative skills within a comprehensive environment.
