Shams appoints consultant for world-class media studios

This groundbreaking project represents a major leap in expanding Sharjah’s media infrastructure, equipping the emirate with state-of-the-art production studios that will attract major film, television, and digital content creators from around the world. 

 A cutting-edge production hub for global creators 

Shams Studios is set to become a fully integrated media and film production destination, designed to cater to the evolving needs of international production houses, independent filmmakers, and content creators. Spanning a total area of 38,136 square metres, the complex will feature five high-tech studios, each measuring 1,710 square metres, ensuring versatility for a wide range of production requirements. 

Equipped with the latest in digital imaging, advanced lighting, and high-quality soundproofing, the studios will offer world-class post-production facilities, including editing suites, visual effects labs, and professional-grade sound design services. The project is designed to provide an immersive and seamless creative experience, ensuring that every stage of production, from filming to final edits, meets the highest global standards. 

Beyond production facilities, Shams Studios will feature co-working spaces for creatives, executive offices for production companies, modern meeting rooms, and dedicated hospitality services. A boutique hotel with private dressing rooms for actors and crew, alongside thoughtfully designed leisure spaces, will offer a comfortable and inspiring environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and efficiency. 

 A game-changing addition to Sharjah’s creative landscape 

Construction on the project is set to commence soon, with the building contract expected to be awarded in the fourth quarter of this year. The development follows a clear timeline for design, construction, and full-scale implementation, ensuring that Sharjah is fully prepared to host high-profile international productions in record time.

He further emphasised that the project places Shams at the forefront of global media cities, providing a thriving space for investment, innovation, and creative storytelling.
