Sharjah 24: As part of its continuous commitment to supporting students and nurturing their educational journey, the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, operating under the Districts Affairs Department, organised an academic meeting for grade 12 students under the theme “Together we make the difference towards excellence”. The event coincided with the start of the 2025–2026 academic year.

The meeting aimed to instil determination, diligence, and perseverance in students, while boosting their confidence in their abilities and potential to achieve advanced results. This aligns with the state’s strong emphasis on education as a cornerstone for preparing generations capable of actively contributing to building the future.

Encouraging excellence and motivation

This educational initiative forms part of the council’s strategy to adopt quality programmes that enhance motivation among secondary school students in Dibba Al Hisn. The goal is to encourage outstanding academic achievement, raise performance levels, and secure leading positions at the national level.

These efforts reflect the Emirate of Sharjah’s dedication to nurturing students and future generations. They strengthen the partnership between home and school, providing continuous platforms for communication between parents and educational institutions. This, in turn, contributes to producing a generation that is confident, creative, and capable of shouldering future responsibilities.

Active participation of council members

The meeting was attended by Council Chair Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Vice Chair Mohammed Saif Al Dhahouri, alongside several council members and staff. Their words and guiding messages demonstrated parents’ keenness to be active partners in the educational process and strong supporters of their children at this pivotal stage of their academic lives.

Field visits and direct student engagement

The meeting also fell within the activities of the council’s educational committee. A council delegation carried out field visits to grade 12 classrooms at Al Khalidiya Secondary School – Boys (Eastern Section). They met directly with students, delivering encouraging and inspiring messages that reflected the local community’s confidence in their ambitions. The messages stressed that excellence and leadership are within reach if students remain diligent and committed.

Positive response from students and educators

This educational gesture received a highly positive response from students, teachers, and school administrations. They expressed appreciation for the council’s significant role in boosting students’ psychological and moral support, thus fostering an environment conducive to creativity and learning.

They emphasised that such initiatives provide students with strong motivation to exert greater effort, persevere, and feel assured that they have the backing and encouragement needed to succeed and excel.
