Elena Lapsina, the head coach of Sharjah Women's Sports Club's archery team, emphasised the event's significance as a strong start to the indoor championship season. The club's competitors performed admirably, winning a total of 18 medals—six golds, six silvers, and six bronzes.
She stated, "This performance displays the players' dedication and the improvement of their technical and mental qualities. It also confirms the team's readiness to compete in indoor competitions, which need extreme concentration and meticulous planning. Although the season has only just begun, the team is still participating in international events and preparing for future ones."
Lapsina extended gratitude to the technical personnel and everyone who helped the team. She commended the Sports Medicine and Healthcare Centre at Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation, stating that the assistance provided is critical to improving the athletes' physical and technical preparation. The center's injury prevention protocol contributes to consistent performance growth.
These results represent the club's continued efforts to improve women's archery, demonstrating the depth of its talent pool — from juniors to seniors — as well as its capacity to continually produce champions and maintain excellent performance in national events.
