SWS secured a total of six gold, three silver and four bronze medals across various age categories, capping a season of strong performances by its athletes.

Standout performances

On the opening day, Alia Faisal Al Shara won gold in the under-12 recurve event, while Fatima Yousef took bronze. In the under-15 recurve category, Sharjah Women Sports swept the podium, with Cambria Patino taking gold, Shamma Jassim Al Kaabi silver and Shahad Jawhar bronze.

Maha Thamer Al Shamsi also won silver in the under-15 compound division.

Continued success

On the second day, Marwa Salman Al Blooshi won gold in the under-18 compound event, Sheikha Abdulghani Al Ali secured gold in the under-18 recurve category, and Maryam Abdullah Shalwah claimed bronze.

Maitha Mohammed Al Nuaimi won gold in the under-21 compound event, while Amna Al Awadhi topped the women’s compound event. Sinehal Devakar and Hessa Yaqoub Al Awadhi took silver and bronze, respectively, in the women’s recurve event.

Positive season finale

Head coach Zakhar Tajayeva said the final stage marked an important conclusion to a long and competitive season, reflecting the players’ technical and mental development.

She noted that the performances, particularly in the youth categories, demonstrated the effectiveness of the club’s development programmes and laid a strong foundation for future success.
