The Sharjah team began the match with strength and set the pace from the first minute, securing the lead in all four quarters: the first quarter ended 24–15, the second 20–11, the third 13–7, and the fourth 12–6. This strong showing reflected clear technical superiority and a high level of tactical discipline and mental focus.
Captain Waleed Al Hajri, coach of Sharjah Women Sports Club, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating that they were well-prepared for the encounter through an intensive training programme with a particular focus on the psychological aspect. The team entered the second-leg match with a strong fighting spirit, which allowed them to impose their playing style and control the flow of the game while remaining composed and avoiding hasty attacks.
Technically, the team performed in a balanced way, both defensively and offensively. A few changes were made to the starting line-up by including young players who added a great deal of energy and proved themselves trustworthy. All the players did what was required, and the team achieved the result they were aiming for. Al Hajri added that they intend to maintain this momentum into the final and end the season by lifting the cup.
This win once again demonstrates the team’s readiness for future commitments, showing marked progress in defensive organisation, quick transitions to offence, and consistent game management until the final whistle.
