The meeting, which took place, on Saturday, at the headquarters of “Alef Education” in Sharjah, aimed to enhance joint cooperation with “Miqyas Al Dhad”, which is a joint project between “Alef Education” and “Metametrics”, to develop ways of teaching Arabic.
Meeting students’ needs in the modern era
During the meeting, the promotion of Arabic reading and the development of innovative research projects were discussed that seek to improve and develop Arabic language skills among new generations, and to provide innovative educational solutions that support education strategies and meet the needs of students in the modern era.
Improving students’ level in the Arab and Islamic world
His Excellency Salem Omar Salem stressed the importance of this strategic partnership between ICESCO Regional Office and “Miqyas Al Dhad”, which is in line with ICESCO’s objectives of promoting cultural understanding and comprehensive Arabic language education, and is an important step towards achieving sustainability in spreading the culture of the Arabic language.
His Excellency Salem Omar Salem said that ICESCO affirms its commitment to continue cooperation with all concerned parties to support the teaching of the Arabic language, and it looks forward to achieving tangible positive results in improving the level of students in the Arab and Islamic world.

For his part, Iyad Darawsheh explained that this cooperation with ICESCO supports the efforts of “Miqyas Al Dhad” aimed at developing modern educational tools that focus on improving Arabic language skills.
The meeting discussed the importance of joint work between ICESCO and “Miqyas Al Dhad” in improving students’ abilities in reading and writing in Arabic, in addition to developing educational tools and resources that keep pace with modern developments and help spread the Arabic language effectively.
