Sharjah 24: For the third year in a row, Al Khalidiya Suburb Council launched, on Saturday, the "Ramadan Utensils" initiative, sponsored by Al Huraiz General Trading, to provide 200 sets of household utensils to needy families in the suburb.
Al Khalidiya Suburb Council continues its approach of launching innovative community initiatives that enhance social solidarity, support needy families, and enhance the elements of a decent life during the holy month of Ramadan.
Enhancing the spirit of giving
The initiative comes within the Council's ongoing efforts to bring joy to families and enhance the spirit of giving, as four pieces of multi-use utensils were allocated to each family, to meet their kitchen needs during the holy month, reflecting the Council's approach to providing practical and sustainable support that matches the requirements of needy families.
Public and private partnership enhances social responsibility
In this context, His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya Suburb Council, praised the pioneering role played by Al Huraiz General Trading through its support for this initiative, stressing that this cooperation reflects the importance of community partnerships between the public and private sectors in implementing humanitarian projects with a tangible positive impact, contributing to improving the quality of life for families and enhancing the concept of social responsibility among leading institutions.
