This initiative is part of the executive council’s plans to develop the administrative system, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of field leadership and enabling managers to exercise their authority effectively, thereby improving government service quality and accelerating response to stakeholder needs.
The programmes are held at the Economic Development Department in Khorfakkan, alongside ongoing sessions in the Central Region at the University of Al Dhaid, as part of a comprehensive plan covering all areas of the emirate. The initiatives focus on equipping branch managers to develop and implement operational plans tailored to each region’s specific needs, enhancing performance efficiency and delivering pioneering government services that improve stakeholder experience and satisfaction.
The project includes a comprehensive suite of ongoing training programmes covering leadership and administrative responsibility, strategic and operational decision-making, governance and compliance, performance management, institutional efficiency, application of best government practices, team management, and community engagement.
Through this project, the department aims to equip branch managers with modern leadership and administrative skills, strengthening institutional empowerment and supporting Sharjah Government’s objectives to develop national talent and enhance government performance across all regions of the emirate.
