In the second episode of the religious podcast Duroob Al Khair," aired on the "Sharjah 24" YouTube channel, Sheikh Dr. Salem Al-Doubi, Director of the Preaching and Fatwa Department in Sharjah's Islamic Affairs Authority, presented profound insights on the worship of Allah and knowing Him. He emphasised the importance of reflecting on Allah's creations and reading the Quran as a means to draw closer to Him and understand His greatness.
Sheikh Al-Doubi explained that worshiping Allah is the primary purpose for which humans were created. He noted that Allah sent messengers to guide people toward worshiping Him and understanding His attributes and power.
He also pointed out that knowledge of Allah can only be achieved through the prophets and messengers sent by Allah to humanity, to clarify the correct path for His worship. He stated that the Quran is the primary source for knowing Allah and His beautiful names and supreme attributes.
Regarding faith, Sheikh Al Doubi stressed the importance of being aware of Allah at every moment, noting that fasting is one of the most significant means to enhance this awareness. He affirmed that supplicating to Allah and being content with His decree are essential parts of true faith.
