Iman Al Ali highlighted in a special statement to Sharjah 24 that the distribution process will be managed through the department’s headquarters, with volunteers playing a crucial role. Each volunteer will be responsible for collecting meals from the headquarters and delivering them to workers in various locations. This approach aims to maximise the number of beneficiaries and reinforce the values of generosity and social solidarity within the community.
She also emphasised that the initiative will include Zayed Day for Humanitarian Work, a key occasion dedicated to instilling human values, encouraging volunteerism, and strengthening social unity. She noted that this effort aligns with the UAE’s 2025 vision, themed “Year of Community,” reflecting Sharjah’s commitment to promoting a culture of giving and sustainable humanitarian efforts.
