The project consists of seven residential villas and is regarded as one of the department’s significant real estate initiatives aimed at achieving financial stability and strengthening the role of endowments in supporting community and humanitarian initiatives.
One of the villas has also been designated and equipped to serve as the headquarters for the “Raed” Centre, recently launched by the department.
Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Department of Awqaf in Sharjah, affirmed that the project is part of a series of developmental endowment initiatives across the emirate, reflecting the department’s mission to expand and strengthen endowments into an effective tool for supporting sustainable development and serving society.
He added: "We operate based on a comprehensive vision aimed at strengthening endowment investments and diversifying income sources to secure sustainable revenues. This supports financing community, educational, health, and charitable initiatives. We are dedicated to ensuring that our projects are characterised by high quality and meticulous planning in line with the urban and demographic growth observed in the Emirate of Sharjah."
The project was developed on a plot of land measuring 3,623.4 square metres, with an estimated total cost of AED 9,320,000. It represents a significant investment within a series of projects being undertaken under the department’s operational plan to maximise returns, support endowment channels, and serve various community groups.
