Awqaf Department builds a mosque and a school in Bangladesh

The mosque covers an area of 144 square metres and can accommodate 216 worshipers; while the school extends over a similar area and can accommodate 90 students. The total cost of the project amounted to 250,000 dirhams.

Responding to villages needs

Building mosques is one of the most prominent charitable works that philanthropists contribute to, due to its role in providing places for worship and education.

Department of Awqaf has been keen to implement the project in areas that suffer from a lack of service facilities, in response to the need of many villages for mosques and schools.
