Excellence Award criteria and rewards approved

Sharjah 24: The Supreme Committee for the Sharjah Excellence in Sports Leadership Award has approved the technical criteria and financial rewards for the winners. The committee also added a new category, "The Unsung Hero," recognising clubs, executives, and staff from various sectors. The third committee meeting, held at House of Wisdom, was chaired by Dr Abdullah Abdulrahman bin Sultan, with the presence of Dr Abdullah Mohamed bin Mlih, Dr Nabil Mahoud bin Ashour, Mohamed Ali bin Hammad, and Abdullah Hussein Al Ali.

Award timeline and process

During the meeting, Abdullah Hussein Al Ali presented a report on the committee's visits to clubs to explain the award and the nomination process. As per the award’s timeline, nominations will be accepted until the end of April, followed by a review and selection process. Winners will be announced at a formal ceremony in June.
