Bencic wins second Mubadala Abu Dhabi title

Sharjah 24: Swiss tennis player Belinda Bencic claimed the title of the third edition of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open for Women's Tennis Championship, marking her second victory in the tournament’s history.

Bencic defeats Ashlyn Kruger in the final

Bencic secured her second Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open title after defeating American Ashlyn Kruger in the final. The match, held on the main court at the International Tennis Complex in Zayed Sports City, saw Bencic come from behind after dropping the first set 4-6, before winning the next two sets with scores of 6-1 and 6-1.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council

The tournament, which was organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and under the umbrella of the Women's Tennis Association, featured thrilling matches and showcased the high level of tennis talent in the women’s circuit.
