Championship kicks off with wide participation
The second round of the championship, dedicated to "no suit" competitions, began today with a large participation from top Jiu-Jitsu players across the country. The event, spanning two days, featured competitions in the under-12, under-14, and under-16 categories, where the young athletes showcased excellent performances and high-level skills.
Sharjah leads, Al Ain and Adma follow
At the conclusion of the first day’s competitions, Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club led the rankings, with Al Ain Club in second place and Adma Academy in third.

His Excellency Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Board Member of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, highlighted that the championship provides a valuable experience for young talents, helping them improve their technical and skill capabilities. He also emphasized the event’s role in fostering discipline, commitment, and respect among the athletes, preparing them for future challenges. Al Batran also noted that the championship was the first to introduce an under-12 category in the "no suit" competitions, aiming to help younger generations adapt to professional competitions from an early age.
