Mleiha Sports Club was distinguished by obtaining the third place cup after receiving 33 coloured medals, namely five gold medals, fifteen silver medals, and thirteen bronze medals, reflecting the efforts made to achieve continuous successes in swimming in the emirate
The coronation ceremony and honouring of the winners by Mleiha Club was attended by Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, member of Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club and Head of the Sports Games Committee; Abdulrahman Muhair Al Ketbi, member of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club and Head of the Media Committee; and Hamid Abdullah Khasouni Al Ketbi, Swimming Supervisor. They presented medals and cups to the winners in the presence of representatives of SSC and the Emirate's clubs, where everyone praised the level of organisation and the high competitive spirit among the participants.
Among the players who showed exceptional performance in the competitions were Mohammed Hareb, who won two gold medals and three silver medals, as well as Hamid Al Khasouni, who won three gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.
Salem Hareb won one silver medal and one bronze medal, while Salem Tamim won two silver medals and two bronze medals.
Abdulrahman Al Khasouni also excelled by winning three silver medals, Abdullah Sultan won one silver medal and one bronze medal, and Awad Hareb shone by winning one silver medal and one bronze medal.
Dhiab Omar showed a distinguished level by winning one silver medal, as did Salem Musabah, who achieved one silver medal. Hamdan Khalifa was able to achieve one silver medal, while Mansour Al Maadi won one bronze medal, Mayed Harb won two bronze medals, and Abdullah Al Ali won two bronze medals.
Mansour Tamim was crowned with one bronze medal, and Abdullah Tamim with a bronze medal.
Hamad Tamim All Ketbi, member of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club and Head of the Sports Games Committee at Mleiha Club, confirmed that the achievements made in the Second Competitive Swimming Championship was a result of the great efforts made by the players and the technical staff during the past period, expressing his pride in the distinguished levels presented by the team on the championship grounds, which constitutes an opportunity to develop skills and enhance competition between the emirate’s clubs.
Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi added that Mleiha Club players showed strong determination and fighting spirit that contributed to making this achievement, which reflects the club’s ability to compete in various sports. He pointed out that the club continues to provide all necessary support to its players providing advanced training programmes and specialised technical supervision to achieve more accomplishments in the future.
