SDPW completes mosque in Sharjah Desert Park

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) announced the completion of the construction of a new mosque in Sharjah Desert Park, one of the most important tourist and entertainment destinations in the Emirate.

The project comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructure and provide distinguished services to the park’s visitors and residents in the area.

2,641 square feet

The new mosque, which extends over an area of 2,641 square feet and can accommodate 125 worshipers, is distinguished by its architectural design that blends traditional and modern Islamic styles, giving it a special aesthetic that harmonises with the surrounding natural environment.

The mosque has been equipped with all the necessary facilities to meet the needs of worshipers, including prayer halls, ablution facilities, and spaces designated for women.

Suitable Place for Worship

Engineer Khaled Al Souqi, the project engineer assigned by SDPW said that the completion of the mosque enhances the integrated services provided by Sharjah Desert Park to its visitors, and contributes to providing a suitable place for worship and spiritual contemplation amidst the picturesque nature.

Al Souqi expressed his pride in implementing the project, which reflects the commitment to providing the best services and developing the infrastructure for the community.

Strengthening Community Ties

The new mosque is expected to contribute to strengthening community ties and religious values among park visitors, in addition to providing a suitable place for worship and spiritual relaxation.

The project embodies Sharjah's vision of achieving sustainable development and providing an integrated living environment for all members of society.
