SDPW hosts Eid Joy Initiative

Sharjah 24: In an effort to promote the values of social solidarity and bring joy to children's hearts, Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) hosted the "Eid Joy" initiative, in cooperation with Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD).

The initiative aims to bring joy to children deprived of social care and registered with the department.

As part of the initiative, "Eid Joy" boxes were distributed to participating institutions. These boxes contain beneficiary children’s identification data and sizes, ensuring they receive appropriate Eid supplies.

Reinforcing the spirit of giving and social responsibility

The event also included the establishment of a "Eid Joy" corner at the department's headquarters, serving as a platform for distributing gifts and preparing Eid supplies for the beneficiary children, reinforcing the spirit of giving and social responsibility.

The initiative comes within the framework of Sharjah government's commitment to supporting those in need and promoting the values of compassion and solidarity among members of society, affirming the vision of the wise leadership to provide a decent life for all segments of society.
