Sharjah24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club achieved significant success at the 2024 Laser Run Championship held at Ittihad Kalba Club. The team secured eight medals, including three gold, three silver, and two bronze, amid strong competition from various participating clubs.
This achievement reflects Mleiha Club's commitment to advancing towards more success, affirming its position as one of the leading sports institutions in the country.
In the under-15 category, Abdulrahman Saeed Khasouni Al Ketbi delivered an exceptional performance, winning the gold medal. In the under-13 category, the club's players dominated the top three positions with Dhiyab Omar Saeed Al Ketbi winning gold, Hamid Saeed Khasouni Al Ketbi securing silver, and Salem Musbah Al Ketbi taking bronze.
The team continued to shine in the under-11 category, with Salem Tamim Salem Al Ketbi winning gold, Mansour Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi claiming silver, and Khalid Khalifa Tamim Al Ketbi securing bronze. In the under-9 category, Mohammed Khalid Mohammed Al Qaidi won silver, followed by Hamdan Hamad Ali Al Qaidi with bronze.
Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, Secretary of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, expressed pride in the team's achievements. He attributed these results to hard work and continuous support from the club's management and technical staff. Al Ketbi emphasised that this success embodies the club's ambitious plans to develop players' abilities from a young age.
