The event saw the presence of Khamis bin Salem Al-Suwaidi, adviser at the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah; Abdullah Khalfan Al-Naqbi, Wali of Nahwa; Abdul Malik Jani, vice-chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; Mohammed Khamis Al-Naqbi, deputy Wali of Shis; as well as various officials and residents from Nahwa and Khorfakkan.
Abdul Malik Mohammed Jani expressed that the festival embodies the Sharjah Sports Council's strategy and its dedication to enhancing the organization of community sporting events and activities that promote awareness of the significance of engaging in sports.
In an interview with Sharjah 24, he mentioned that the festival, taking place at Nahwa Public Park, sought to enhance social cohesion and bring happiness to the residents throughout the emirate’s cities and regions, aligning with the council's other initiatives.
The festival showcased a diverse array of sports activities, such as football, table tennis, and tug-of-war, alongside art workshops for children and theatre events that highlighted poetry and performances.
