Sharjah 24: The Rubu' Qarn Centre for Theatre and Performing Arts will launch its theatre season this winter, celebrating the creative talents of young members aged 6 to 31. Running from December 15 to December 19, the season will take place across various locations in Sharjah, including Heart of Sharjah, Al Dhaid Fort, and Khorfakkan Corniche.
The season will feature a variety of events, such as theatrical performances, puppetry shows, dialogue sessions, and an exhibition of photos and theatrical posters. This initiative aims to provide a platform for the young participants to showcase their skills, foster community engagement, and highlight the impact of the Rubu' Qarn programmes on developing the participants' talents and personalities.
Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, who has championed the cultural development of Sharjah, emphasised the importance of nurturing creativity and leadership among the youth. Through this event, the community will experience the intersection of entertainment and education, strengthening the role of the arts in shaping well-rounded individuals.
The Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, established nearly 40 years ago by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah continues to enrich the lives of young people through various cultural and artistic initiatives, including Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer).
