The event featured 15 races across the two- year – old camels covering a distance of 1200 metres. Winners were honoured with cash prizes, shields, and the victorious camels were rewarded with saffron.
His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, highlighted the significance of this event, celebrating the UAE's remarkable achievements under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his fellow rulers.
Bin Huwaiden emphasised that the race is part of the club’s efforts to celebrate the Eid Al Etihad and affirm the leadership's support for the nation’s rich camel racing heritage, strengthening the cultural value of this ancient sport.
