Al Dhaid Club concludes 53rd Eid Al Etihad Championship

Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club concluded the 53rd Eid Al Etihad Air Shooting Championship, held under the supervision of the Shooting Federation in the shooting hall at Al Dhaid Club.
The championship concluded, on Wednesday, after fierce competitions that lasted for four days, with the participation of clubs from the UAE, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar, and included the rifle and pistol categories.

The championship was characterised by a high level of competition, as participants demonstrated distinctive skills in various competitions, and Al Dhaid Club team achieved great results, and advanced positions in several categories.

Results of the championship competitions: Rifle competition for girls: First place was achieved by Al Maha Mishaal Al Ali (Al Rami Sports Club); second place was achieved by: Fatima Obaid Al Suwaidi (Sharjah Women's Sports Club); third place was achieved by Dalal Mohammed Al Qubaisi (Al Rami Sports Club)

Rifle competition for Juniors: First place was achieved by Sultan Saleh Mohammed Hassan (Al Dhaid Cultural Sports Club); second place was achieved by Saad Ahmed Al Sulaiti (Al Rami Sports Club).
Third place: Khaled Abdul Rahman Sharshani (Al Rami Sports Club).

Rifle competition for juniors: First place was achieved by Safaa Mohammed Al Dosari (Bahrain Ministry of Defense Club); second place was achieved by Bahiya Mansour Al Hamad (Al Rami Sports Club); third place was achieved by Yasmine Abdul Rahman Tahlak (Sharjah Women's Sports Club). 

In the men's rifle competition: First place was achieved by Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim (Al Dhaid Cultural Sports Club); second place was achieved by Hussein Abdul Jabbar Ali (Bahrain Ministry of Interior Club); third place was achieved by Khaled Mohammed Al Dosari (Bahrain Ministry of Defense Club).

 In the pistol competition for girls: First place was achieved by: Manal Mohammed Ibrahim (Bahrain Ministry of Defense Club) (Al Nasr Cultural Sports Club) Second place Reem Abdullah Younis Al Ketbi (Sharjah Women's Sports Club).
Third place Aisha Al Abdullah (Al Rami Sports Club). 

In the Junior Pistol Competition: First place: Nawaf Ahmed Al Nasser (Al Rami Sports Club); Second place Mohammed Kamel Mahdi (Sharjah Sports Club). Third place Saud Ahmed Al Ali (Al Dhaid Club). 

In the Women's Pistol Competition: First place: Moza Abdul Rahim Ali (Bahrain Ministry of Interior Club); Second place Duaa Rahmatullah Habib (Al Rami Sports Club); Third place Ghaya Shahil Abdullah (Sharjah Women's Sports Club).

In the Men's Pistol Competition: First place Ahmed Abdullah Al Amiri (Al Dhaid Cultural Sports Club); Second place Salem Mohammed Al Tunaiji (Al Dhaid Cultural Sports Club). Third place: Mohammed Nasser Al Yafei (Al Rami Sports Club).

At the end of the tournament, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, crowned the winners, in the presence of His Excellency Hamid Abdullah Balsadriya Al Khatri, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club; His Excellency Hassan Al Shehhi, Vice President of the UAE Shooting Federation; His Excellency Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural Committee; His Excellency Saif bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; and Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Club. 

The organising committee of the tournament was also honoured, as Ali Abdullah bin Nouma Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, was honoured in addition to the participating referees. 

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi congratulated the wise leadership on the occasion of the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad, praising its wise directives that contribute to enhancing and supporting sports and community activities in the country, stressing that these achievements are a reflection of the leadership's vision in supporting youth and sports.
