This edition will see the participation of eight teams—four from the UAE and four from Qatar. The first tournament, known as the Challenge Shield, is set to take place on January 16, 2025, in Doha, where Al Rayyan, the runner-up of the Ooredoo Stars League, will go head-to-head with Shabab Al Ahli, the runner-up of the ADNOC Professional League.
The Super Cup will follow, with Al Nasr, who finished second in the President's Cup, taking on Qatar SC, the runner-up of the Emir of Qatar Cup, on January 17, 2025, in Dubai.
Next up is the Super Shield, which will feature a matchup between Al Sadd, the reigning champions of the Ooredoo Stars League, and Al Wasl, the titleholders of the ADNOC Professional League, scheduled for January 18, 2025, in Doha.
Finally, the Challenge Cup will see Al Wahda, champions of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, pitted against Al Wakrah, the champions of the Qatar Cup, on January 19, 2025, in Abu Dhabi.
