Sharjah Police report zero deaths on 53rd Eid Al Etihad

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police have successfully implemented their security and traffic plan during the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations, reporting zero fatalities and serious accidents across the emirate. The operations centre handled 41,443 calls through the 999 and 901 emergency and non-emergency hotlines.
The police credit their effective strategy, which involved 241 patrols and increased presence at key celebration sites, parks, residential areas, and main roads. This approach played a key role in ensuring public safety, reducing accidents, and achieving the goal of zero deaths and serious injuries.

Sharjah Police received 35,123 emergency calls through the 999 center and 6,320 non-emergency calls via the 901 centre. The police enhanced coordination with regional operations rooms to maintain a quick response to any events and provide top-tier public services. 

Sharjah Police thanked the community for their responsible behaviour and adherence to safety guidelines, ensuring a secure and enjoyable celebration of the nation’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad.
