Rashid bin Saqr: Eid Al Etihad a model for achieving goals

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah's Finance Department, emphasised that Eid Al Etihad serves as a powerful model for uniting efforts and harnessing energy to achieve significant goals for the benefit of humanity.

In his statement for the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, Sheikh Rashid highlighted that on December 2, 1971, the nation’s founders united under the banner of unity, marking the beginning of the UAE's remarkable renaissance. He credited the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the founding fathers for laying the foundation of the country’s success.

Sheikh Rashid also acknowledged the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who continue to follow the path of the founding fathers, ensuring the UAE’s progress through collaboration, loyalty, and overcoming challenges.
