Sharjah24: Sharjah 9, representing the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, participated in the fourth round of the 2024 XCAT World Championship for powerboats in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, marking the event's inaugural in the region. The event showcased 10 global powerboats, each manned by 20 competitors.
Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, led the club delegation, which included the boat captains and a technical team responsible for preparation and oversight during this second-to-last round.
Al Hosani expressed his pride in participating in the Saudi Arabian championship, highlighting the club's commitment to showcasing its finest abilities. He stated that this involvement showcases the club's commitment to advancing marine sports in Sharjah and expressed hopes for attaining remarkable outcomes in future competitions.
