Sharjah first to reach semi-finals at Asian Handball Championship

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah men's handball team has secured a spot in the semi-finals of the 27th Asian Clubs Handball Championship, held in Doha, Qatar, after defeating Iran's Mes Kerman 36-25 in Tuesday's quarter-final match at Al Duhail Club. Sharjah led 14-12 at halftime.

With this victory, Sharjah will face the winner of the Kuwait vs. Kazma match in the semi-finals on Thursday, November 21.

This marks the fourth time Sharjah has reached the "Golden Square" in the Asian Clubs Championship, following their previous appearances in the 2018 edition in India and two consecutive bronze medal finishes in Kuwait (March 2019) and South Korea (November 2019).
