Sharjah Club welcomes UAE Cycling Federation delegation

The visit of the UAE Cycling Federation to Sharjah Sports Club aimed to introduce the achievements of the federation during the period from 2020 to 2024, during which it made numerous accomplishments on all levels, especially regarding the national teams and the significant developments in administrative, technical, and race organization aspects.

His Excellency Mansour Bu Aseeba explained that as a federation, they have reached high levels, infused new blood into the national team players, and achieved outstanding results, especially the historical achievement in the Asian Championship where the UAE secured first and second place, in addition to remarkable results during the Gulf Games hosted by the country.

Bu Aseeba continued: "We thank Sharjah Sports Club for the great interest it shows in the sport and its presence in youth stage tournaments, as well as the presence of four of its youth players in the national team. These players are considered talented individuals whom we hope to see in the men's team in the future."

On his part, His Excellency Khalid Issa Al Midfa stated that the noble directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to focus on all sports at the club, serve as the starting point for the board of directors to support and encourage all club sports, not just football. He pointed out that Al King Fort has sports teams in individual and team sports at a high level of skill and excellence, achieving outstanding results and raising the country's flag high.

Al Midfa added: "The club's board of directors supports all the country's federations and shares their goal of developing our players, preparing and improving them to implement the directives of our wise leadership in representing the country in all international events.
