University of Khorfakkan hosts higher education forum

Sharjah 24: University of Khorfakkan recently hosted the "Best Practices Forum in Higher Education," organised by the Academic Accreditation Commission at the Ministry of Education. Approximately 200 academics from various universities across the UAE attended the event.

The forum, held at the university's headquarters, featured 13 working papers presented by researchers and specialists. It aimed to highlight the latest academic practices, research outcomes, and labor market needs, fostering the exchange of ideas to enhance education in the country.

Dr. Ali Khalifa, Director of the Department of Institutional Effectiveness and Academic Accreditation at University of Khorfakkan, noted the significant participation from prestigious institutions, including the University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah, and UAE University, among others.

The event was attended by officials, department directors, and deans, emphasising the collaborative effort in advancing higher education.
