Activities include a variety of workshops and events to introduce the public to the latest developments in space science. Activities are running from October 7 to 10.
Fatima Al Khatri announced that SAASST is organising a number of events and activities in conjunction with the World Space Week, held this year, under the slogan "Space and Climate Change". Activities aim to shed light on the latest developments in the field of space and astronomy.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Fatima Al Khatri pointed out that these events host a group of researchers and specialists in space sciences, who present scientific workshops that review the latest scientific findings in this field, and provide the opportunity for the public to interact with experts and explore the universe from an advanced scientific perspective.
The Director of the Sharjah Planetarium added that the suburbs of Al Ain and the Emirates Astronomy Society are participating in the World Space Week activities, presenting a group of artistic drawings and images that highlight the aesthetics of space, planets and stars, which gives the event an artistic and scientific character.
At the end of her statement, Al Khatri invited the public to participate and attend the World Space Week activities and benefit from the different workshops and activities.
